This video talks about the history of the Stevenston village, also introduced the unique shop that we found in Steveston village, “Mr. Gold”. The reason why we wanted to create this video to talk about Stevenston village is because it is the earliest development of the fishing industry led to shipbuilding, back then all the boats and ships will stop at Steveston pier. Nowadays, it is a place for tourist to visit and a community for the citizens who live in Richmond to relax. We want to use video to let more people to know about Vancouver and the life we have at Vancouver. There are a lot of historical places just like Steveston village that turned into a tourist attraction place to let more people to truly tour around and to“feel”the history of Steveston.
